Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must produce deliverables related to substation Protection & Control (P&C) design projects, including:

• Single line diagrams
• Three line diagrams
• Panel layouts
• AC & DC schematics
• Equipment and switchboard wiring diagrams
• Bills of material
• Vendor drawings
• Logic diagrams using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Candidate should have a background in substation protective relaying or power plant instrumentation & control design, with the ability to lead projects involving medium and high voltage relay replacements, retrofits, and new installations. Experience in managing projects from start to finish with minimal guidance, mentoring, and monitoring budgets and schedules are required.

• Experience with SEL, GE, Beckwith, Basler, and ABB relays is a plus

• Support site walkdowns during design and construction phases
