The ideal candidate will oversee the creation of critical electrical diagrams, coordinate project budgets, and mentor junior engineers. Ideal candidate must be able to produce deliverables associated with substation Protection & Control (P&C) design projects. This includes single line diagrams, three line diagrams, panel layouts, AC & DC schematics, equipment and switchboard wiring diagrams, bills of material, vendor drawings, and logic diagrams using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software.
The candidate should have a design background in either substation protective relaying or power plant instrumentation & control design. The ideal candidate must have the skills to lead design efforts on projects involving medium and high voltage substation relay replacements/retrofits and new installations. Experience in completing projects from start to finish with minimal guidance is essential. Responsibilities also include mentoring and monitoring project budgets and schedules.
