Job summary

Intelletec Energy partners with a growing power contractor to add an Estimator focused on substation and high‑voltage projects. You will help price complex bids, review electrical drawings, and conduct takeoffs across electrical and civil scopes.

The role offers exposure to critical infrastructure and input into project delivery. We're seeking candidates with substations or utility construction experience who can lead on bids and collaborate with engineering, project management and construction

Qualifications

• Experience estimating substation/high-voltage projects.
• Ability to review drawings/specs and price projects accurately.
• Proficiency in quantity and material takeoffs for electrical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates for substation/high-voltage projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation to price accurately.
• Perform quantity and material takeoffs across substation scopes.
• Build estimates for electrical, civil/structural and related construction needs.
• Develop labor, equipment and material pricing for bids.
• Support conceptual estimates during early-stage engineering.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Review bids for scope, exclusions and risk.
• Maintain historical labor/productivity/cost data.
