Job summary

A top-tier US power engineering firm is seeking a Clean Energy Talent Consultant to lead HV substation design projects. This role offers a hybrid working environment and the chance for technical ownership while mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will bring a physical and/or Protection & Controls background, strong QA mindset, and project leadership skills. A base salary of $125,000 to $160,000 is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Comfortable owning work and dealing with clients.
• Experience with HV substation design up to 765kV.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HV substation design work up to 765kV.
• Act as project engineer or technical lead depending on experience.
• Own design packages, budgets, and schedules.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.
• Integrate renewables and BESS into utility substations.
