Qualifications

• NICET or NETA certification preferred; 8+ years startup experience.
• Ability to read project instructions manual, contract documents, and startup guidelines.
• Strong supervisory, planning, and communications skills.
• Experience with power plant discipline principles and test/commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of protection system design, settings, installation, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development and maintenance of detailed commissioning schedules.
• Plans commissioning activities and major milestones.
• Leads commissioning effort ensuring compliance with specifications and contracts.
• Oversees documentation reviews and test results from the responsible organization.
• Provides technical support and SME guidance on protection systems and relay testing.
