Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess certification as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor with a CA approved certification agency or current credentials as licensed or license-eligible.
• Ability to lead counseling staff and manage caseloads in a clinical setting.
• Strong documentation, interpersonal, and crisis-intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for other counselors and manage an individual caseload.
• Participate in facility committees and be involved in state and CARF inspections.
• Assist with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and program readiness.
• Conduct intakes, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress notes.
• Oversee documentation accuracy and participate in team trainings.
