Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Technical responsible engineer for topside packaged equipment. You will lead design activities, verify system requirements, and manage project deliverables with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, plus knowledge of HPU and safety systems. Expect collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years in the field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to review package equipment designs.
• Experience with DNV, ABS and other industry standards.
• Experience with rotating machinery, motors and pumps.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Power Units is preferred.
• Experience with safety systems including SIL, shutdowns and I/O.

Responsibilities

• Technical responsible engineer for topside packaged equipment (HPU, TUTA, etc.).
• Document and adhere to system and product requirements.
• Design activities and internal reviews to freeze requirements and designs.
• Develop, build, test, assemble and configure project deliverables.
• Communicate project status and issues with customers and management.
• Ensure delivery on time and compliance with requirements.
• Set up and configure test equipment for interface testing.
• Provide mentorship for incoming control engineers.
• Represent the C&A department in technical discussions.
