Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of engineers focused on unmanned and manned underwater vehicle systems. The role is based at the Palm Beach Facility in South Florida, guiding MBSE, requirements management, and system integration across multiple programs.

The candidate will mentor junior engineers, drive verification planning, and engage with stakeholders to meet schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math or related field; MS degree preferred.
• Hold Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Experience in Systems Engineering and Integration & Test with subsea systems.
• Proven ability to lead subsea programs including MBSE, configuration control, and TRLs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership during proposal, design, integration, testing and qualification.
• Develop and execute detailed program plans, schedules and trade studies.
• Lead customer briefings, IPT status updates, TRRs, and other reviews.
• Manage technical responses for proposals and generate estimates for reviews.
• Ensure system requirements align with program goals and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and risk management across IPTs.
