Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior or Lead Subsea Systems Engineer to join our team in Norway. You will contribute to delivering subsea systems and field development solutions, collaborating with engineers across the region on challenging projects from early studies through detailed design and operation.

The role requires ownership, proactive problem-solving and a strong interest in subsea facilities and SURF, with experience in coordinating multidisciplinary technical deliveries and working

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree with subsea systems, facilities and SURF understanding.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary technical deliveries and delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Providing subsea systems & facilities expertise to project and operations teams.
• Defining subsea system architecture across battery limits, from wellhead through to export point.
• Developing and maturing subsea field architecture concepts.
• Developing subsea area layouts for infield locations and host facilities.
• Performing systems design activities in collaboration with SPS, Subsea Structures, Risers and Flowline disciplines.
• Supporting and mentoring junior systems and SURF engineers.
• Contributing to project risk workshops and design reviews, identifying risks and actions.
