Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking an energetic technician to support enterprise, data centers, government, and medical facilities across the Baltimore, MD area and surrounding regions. You will lead installers, ensure safety, and coordinate with foremen to meet daily milestones.

The role requires 2–4 years of structured cabling experience, reading drawings, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Valid tools and willingness to travel to multiple sites are needed; certifications in BICSI or related fields are

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of structured cabling experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut sheets.
• Must have own tools and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for maintaining job site productivity, ensuring high quality workmanship, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required.
• Mentors’ installers to complete their tasks and responsibilities.
• May work and direct a crew of 2-4 installers or junior crew members.
