Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M's) Chantilly office specializes in low voltage cabling to support enterprise, data centers, government, and medical facilities. We design and install multiple technologies and work throughout the Baltimore & Washington DC Metro areas.

We seek an energetic, career-minded technician to join our team working at various customer sites in the Baltimore, Montgomery County and DC areas. You will lead installers, train juniors, and ensure quality workmanship on each job site

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of structured cabling experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut sheets.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook applications a plus.
• BICSI Certification a plus.
• Occasional overtime and out-of-town travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain job site productivity and safe work environment.
• Install structured cabling systems and perform system testing and troubleshooting.
• Mentor installers and direct a crew of 2-4.
• Read drawings and ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Travel to multiple locations primarily in Maryland including DC and Virginia.
