Job summary
Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Structured Cabling Technician II for our Technology and Data Comm Division in Salt Lake City. The role reports to the Project Foreman and may run crews to deliver projects on time and within budget while upholding safety and craftsmanship.
Ideal candidates have 3 years in the structured cabling field, fiber/Copper termination experience, and a strong track record with large complex projects. We offer competitive pay and strong benefits in Utah.
Qualifications
- 3 years in Structured Cabling industry.
- Experience delivering large complex projects.
- Fiber installation/termination/splicing experience.
- Copper feed pair termination experience.
- Workstation termination and Comm room buildout experience.
- Familiar with Fluke test equipment for fiber and copper.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities and sequencing of work.
- Read project specifications and understand construction drawings.
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork on projects.
- Assist project teams to mitigate risks and issues.
- Execute site commissioning and turnup.
- Ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery with safety and quality.
