Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group seeks an experienced Project Manager in the Central TX area to lead structural steel and construction projects from award to closeout.

You will own budgets, schedules, safety, and financial performance while coordinating fabrication, detailing and field operations with clients and contractors. This role offers significant ownership and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in structural steel/construction PM.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and understand structural and construction drawings.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, change orders and project financials.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of structural steel construction practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from award through to closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, safety and financial performance.
• Coordinate activities across fabrication, detailing and field operations.
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors, superintendents and internal teams.
• Review structural, architectural, shop and erection drawings.
• Manage change orders, project documentation and client communication.
• Monitor project progress and address issues that could affect schedule or budget.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
