Job summary

TATEFAB is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Erection Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial steel projects across Tennessee and the Southeast. The role requires crane coordination, erection sequencing, and safe jobsite leadership.

Expect 85,000–120,000+ annually, full-time, with regional travel and potential per diem or vehicle allowances for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Extensive ironworker and structural steel erection experience.
• Proven leadership or crew supervision experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification and OSHA 1926 Subpart R Training.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of AISC and AWS D1.1 & D1.8 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret design documents & field erection drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan erection sequences and daily production activities.
• Coordinate with project supervision and crane operators.
• Manage deliveries, staging, rigging, and material flow.
• Identify and prepare members for each erection sequence.
• Mentor crew and ensure safe, productive work environment.
• Complete daily progress reports and field communications.
• Maintain attendance, accountablity, and crew performance.
