Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabrication Foreman to lead the second shift, overseeing shop employees, production activities, equipment, materials, scheduling, and quality to keep projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have structural steel fabrication knowledge, strong communication across teams, and decisive leadership in a fast-paced production environment. This is a direct-hire, 2nd shift position in York, PA with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have structural steel fabrication industry experience.
• Prior foreman, supervisor, or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support shop employees during the second shift.
• Oversee daily fabrication activities, personnel, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain production schedules and adjust priorities to meet delivery dates.
• Coordinate with project management and vendors to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Enforce standard fabrication procedures and monitor quality.
• Balance workload and communicate operational needs to management.
