Job summary

Galloway & Company, LLC. is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to guide engineering teams across civil site development and infrastructure projects.

You will apply engineering principles to site layouts, grading, stormwater, utilities, and transportation designs for subdivisions, commercial sites, and public works. Responsibilities include directing engineers, coordinating with authorities, preparing calculations and documents, and reviewing submittals.

Qualifications

• Lead engineer responsibilities and technical direction for design teams.
• Proficiency in Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience managing multiple projects, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Act in a lead position providing technical direction over engineers/designers.
• Coordinate with authorities and review building codes and standards.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate structural engineering work; prepare calculations and drawings.
• Prepare or review construction documents, specs, and estimates; seal documents for submissions.
• Perform on-site construction observation and write observation reports.
• Assist project manager with budgets, standards, and workflows.
