Job summary

DOWL is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to lead design and analysis on significant civil projects. You will serve as engineer-of-record and apply IBC and ASCE 7 knowledge to deliver code-compliant solutions.

You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with seasoned engineers in a multi-office setting, with offices in Eugene and nearby locations. Licensure as PE is preferred; Billings, Bozeman, Lake Oswego, or Eugene offices available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 6 years of experience required in structural engineering.
• PE license required; SE preferred.
• Driving is an essential job function or license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts as engineer-of-record on multiple projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and review work for quality.
• Prepare structural calculations and cost estimates independently.
• Create CAD markups and develop contract plans.
• Lead complex technical reports and client communications.
