Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Knoxville seeks a Senior Technician to lead fresh-concrete testing, perform IBC special inspections, mentor junior technicians, and ensure the integrity of the project record on high-stakes placements.

You will coordinate with engineers, superintendents, and officials, travel for defined programs, maintain certification stack, and advance toward leadership roles in special inspections, lab supervision, or project management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+, or ACI certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians.
• Interface with engineers, building officials, and superintendents.
• Own the testing record and ensure quality documentation on each project.
