Job summary

ANS is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead design teams across a portfolio of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV). You’ll ensure adherence to technical standards, design quality, and on-time delivery while developing the team and supporting clients.

You’ll mentor engineers, oversee specifications and contract requirements from early design through construction, and champion the use of engineering software (Excel, RISA, LPILE) and Trimble products as the technical authority.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering; master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams across a portfolio of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV).
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, design quality, and on-time delivery.
• Develop the team and support clients and business growth.
• Mentor engineers and oversee reviews of specifications and contract requirements.
