Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Boston to lead gravity and lateral design for steel, concrete, and mass timber projects. You will drive project delivery, mentor teammates, and leverage BIM and performance-based seismic approaches.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a passion for sustainable design, working within a multi-disciplinary team in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural building engineering design experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify detailed structural engineering designs, drawings, documents, and specifications.
• Lead detailed engineering design for gravity and lateral systems of building structures.
• Analyze and design structural systems in steel, concrete, and mass timber using US building codes.
• Create 3D structural analysis models using RAM, SAP, ETABS, and SAFE.
• Review project work and deliverables to ensure high quality and alignment with project schedules.
• Manage project development and deliverables in collaboration with the wider team.
• Collaborate in a multi-discipline environment with other design disciplines.
• Guide and help develop less experienced team members to achieve project and team goals.
