Job summary

Brindley Engineering in the United States is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural engineer to lead field evaluations of industrial structures and develop rehabilitation or replacement plans. You will perform calculations and analytical modeling for steel, concrete, and other materials while coordinating with clients and preparing reports.

Requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and a PE license (SE in IL preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience.
• P.E. licensure required; S.E. (IL) preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of STAAD/SAP, AISC, AWS.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred.
• Client interface and team mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field evaluation of existing structures.
• Develop calculations and analytical models in steel, concrete, and other materials.
• Lead the design of structural rehabilitation and/or replacement plans.
• Specify materials and lead the development of reports.
• Technical support for structural construction.
• Client interface, proposal and estimate development.
