Job summary

Brindley Engineering Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Civil/Structural Engineer to lead field evaluations of industrial structures, analyze data, and develop rehabilitation or replacement plans. You will lead field assessments, perform calculations, and prepare technical reports for complex projects.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with 8+ years of experience, PE license, and IL SE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering or related fields.
• Licensure: P.E. required; S.E. (IL) preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of STAAD/SAP; familiarity with AISC and AWS standards.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field evaluation of existing structures.
• Develop calculations and analytical models in steel, concrete, and other materials.
• Lead the design of rehabilitation and/or replacement plans.
• Specify materials and lead the development of reports.
• Provide technical support for structural construction.
• Interface with clients and participate in proposals and estimates.
