You will perform dynamic analyses, lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure objectives are met for naval platforms. The role involves hands-on FEMAP/NASTRAN/Abaqus work, hand calculations, and potential secret-clearance considerations in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program with 9 years of exempt experience.
• Master's Degree with 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ph.D. and 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Dynamic structural (shock) analyses using FEMAP, NASTRAN, Abaqus, Hypermesh; develop engineering calculation reports.
• Hand calculations using textbook methods and development of engineering calculation reports.
• Underwater explosion analysis and related projects.
• Training and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Project planning, execution, and objective management.
• Potential future requirement for SECRET clearance.

Education

ABET-accredited Bachelors in Engineering + 9 years relevant exempt experience

ABET-accredited Masters + 7 years relevant professional experience

ABET-accredited Ph.D. + 4 years experience
