Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) is seeking a senior Structural Dynamics Engineer to lead flutter, aero-servoelastic and gust response analyses on a development program.

You will serve as technical lead for flow-structure coupling and post‑flight data interpretation, and you will help mentor a small team toward rapid resolution of complex problems. A STEM degree with extensive DoD clearance experience is required, and the role supports both part-time and full-time work, with travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
• Bachelor's in STEM + 14 years of relevant experience or Master’s + 12 years
• Ability to work part-time and full-time as needed
• Experience leading a small team on complex programs
• Experience with vibration, aeroelastic testing and flight data processing

Responsibilities

• Lead flutter, whirl flutter, and aeroelastic analysis
• Serve as technical lead on flow-structure coupling
• Attend and present at internal program and milestone reviews
• Provide progress updates to customers and suppliers
• Mentor a small team for rapid issue resolution
