Job summary

Adams Contracting LLC is seeking a Structural Concrete Foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations of a concrete crew on heavy civil construction projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with project supervision and reporting to the Concrete Superintendent.

TDOT experience is a plus. You will supervise forming, reinforcement, pours, and finishing, while managing materials, equipment, and site coordination with inspectors and owners’ reps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervising structural concrete work on heavy/highway projects.
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, reinforcing steel placement, pours and finishing.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily activities of the concrete crew, ensuring productivity and adherence to project schedules.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct daily safety briefings, and promote accountability on site.
• Supervise concrete forming, reinforcement placement, pours, and finishing operations; operate needed equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with superintendent, project management, and inspectors to ensure progress.
• Plan daily work activities and material needs to prevent downtime and shortages.
• Identify constructability issues and provide practical solutions to minimize schedule impact.
• Complete daily reports, time sheets, and required project documentation accurately.
• Represent the company professionally on-site and coordinate with inspectors and owners’ representatives.
