Jobot seeks a talented structural engineer to lead transportation and public infrastructure projects in Illinois. A BS in Civil Engineering and 5+ years of design experience are required, with a P.E. license in Illinois and SE preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis).
• Professional Engineer license in Illinois; SE preferred.
• Experience designing bridges, walls, junction chambers, and related structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client coordination.
• Ability to perform field investigations and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering for transportation and municipal projects.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to staff.
• Prepare and review analyses, docs, and construction plans.
• Support highway, drainage, and structural system design.
• Manage multiple assignments with schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for cost-effective solutions.
