Job summary

SolveNow Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Intermediate Level Structural Designer to contribute to the design team by developing concepts and producing 2D and 3D deliverables for advanced technology manufacturing environments.

You will build structural models in Revit, create complete drawings for the project scope, and manage your workload independently while following department and client standards, with opportunities for growth through evolving automation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed coursework in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design.
• Minimum of 2 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• Minimum of 1 year Revit experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D structural models based on verbal instructions or rough sketches.
• Produce complete drawings or portions of drawing sets for assigned scope.
• Apply department and client standards consistently with normal review and feedback.
• Take ownership of assigned scope within defined direction and project requirements.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of one's own work prior to submission.
• Support coordination with related disciplines as required for assigned scope.
• Participate in coordination, QA/QC, BIM, or similar processes as assigned.
• Support team coordination and contribute to group task execution within assigned scope.
• Execute tasks independently after initial direction without step-by-step instruction for routine work.
• Seek guidance and clarification when scope, standards, or direction are unclear.
• Support team members by addressing needs.
• Advance design automation skills and embrace emerging technologies.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and uphold a Culture of Care.
