Job summary

Belcan Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri seeks a Lead Structural Analyst for a full-time direct role. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 15+ years of structural analysis experience are required.

You will provide technical leadership, define approaches with the OEM, review analyses, and mentor a team to achieve project success, with strong communication and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering.
• 15+ years of experience performing structural analysis on primary and secondary structure.
• Solid understanding of structural load paths and failure modes.
• Strong hand calculation skills and Finite element analysis capabilities (Patran/Nastran).
• Understanding and experience using equivalent strength methodology.
• Static, fatigue, and crack growth analysis experience.
• Mentoring or leadership experience.
• Experience with Boeing stress tools and Boeing Design Manuals.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the US required.
• Travel occasionally as required.

Description: A Lead Structural Analyst job with Belcan Engineering Group is currently available in St. Louis, Missouri. This job is a full-time direct position. To be considered for this role, you will need bachelor\"s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering, and at least 15+ years of relevant experience.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $145,600 to $187,200 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
