Job summary

D1 Training West NOLA in Elmwood, LA is seeking a Head Coach to lead the coaching staff and own the athlete experience from day one. You will set the standard for every workout, manage the coaching schedule, and mentor the team to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities include athlete assessments, goal-setting, and ensuring programs keep athletes motivated and progressing. You will collaborate with the Home Office on programming feedback and uphold the Level 1 D1 Way certification.

Qualifications

• Passion for training athletes aged 7 to adults.
• Coaching certifications (CSCS, USAW, NASM or similar) or the ability to earn Level 1 D1 Way quickly.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring other coaches.
• Strong communication with athletes, parents and staff.
• Lives the D1 core values and brings energy to the facility and community.

Responsibilities

• Lead our team of coaches and deliver the best workout experience in the industry.
• Own the coaching schedule.
• Hold quality standards through regular audits and hands-on coaching feedback.
• Conduct athlete assessments and goal-setting.
• Make sure every athlete is on the right program, motivated, and progressing toward their goals.
• Partner with D1 Home Office on programming feedback and share our athletes' success stories.
• Make sure every coach on staff earns and keeps their Level 1 "D1 Way" certification.
• Report directly to the General Manager.
