Job summary

D1 Training in Olive Branch, MS, seeks a Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead the coaching team, deliver exceptional training experiences, and ensure execution of the D1 Training philosophy. This hands-on leadership role coaches athletes, develops staff, and drives performance while building a strong team culture and ownership.

The role offers growth within a scaling brand and direct impact on athlete results, member experience, and retention.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in strength & conditioning or performance coaching.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of program design and movement mechanics.
• Ability to motivate and hold a team accountable.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach group training sessions for youth, adults, and teams.
• Provide personal training and individualized coaching as needed.
• Oversee personal training operations, including session quality and consistency.
• Hire, train, and develop coaching staff to deliver high-quality workouts.
• Support trainer scheduling, development, and accountability.
• Ensure all sessions reflect D1 Training standards and philosophy.
• Track and improve member engagement and retention.
• Maintain a high-energy, positive training environment.
• Build strong relationships with members and support retention efforts.
