Job summary

D1 Training West NOLA in Elmwood, LA is seeking a Head Coach to lead our coaching staff and own the athlete experience from day one. This hands-on role requires you to coach, set standards for every workout, and build the team underneath you.

You will manage the coaching schedule, conduct athlete assessments, and ensure every athlete stays on the right program while progressing toward their goals, with direct reporting to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Passion for coaching athletes across age groups (7–adult).
• Certification knowledge or ability to earn Level 1 "D1 Way" quickly.
• Leadership experience mentoring other coaches.
• Strong communication with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Alignment with D1 core values and energetic community focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead our team of coaches and deliver the best workout experience.
• Own the coaching schedule.
• Maintain quality standards through audits and coaching feedback.
• Conduct athlete assessments and goal-setting.
• Ensure every athlete is on the right program and progressing.
• Collaborate with D1 Home Office on programming feedback and share athletes' success stories.
• Ensure every coach earns and keeps Level 1 "D1 Way" certification.
• Report directly to the General Manager.
