Job summary

Target’s Properties Strategy & Operations team seeks a Lead Strategist Properties to shape cross-site strategy across the portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams, align with Enterprise leaders, and translate enterprise priorities into actionable plans that improve guest experience, financial performance, and operational excellence.

The role requires a four-year college degree or equivalent, demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership, and strong analytical and storytelling

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• High level of resiliency, personal accountability, collaboration and high comfort with ambiguity.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional work beyond scope of job responsibilities.
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills – an ability to listen for and filter inputs and communicate the most critical points clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and translate strategy to action and adjust strategy based on operational capabilities.
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to drive clarity via storytelling.
• Ability to stay objective in the face of complexity and opposing viewpoints.
• Understanding of the Target Brand.

Responsibilities

• Scope, develop, and activate cross-capability strategic priorities in service of our vision and Enterprise LRP.
• Collaborate and build relationships with Enterprise facing senior leaders to align and activate strategies.
• Create and lead diverse cross-functional teams of peers and leaders from across the Enterprise.
• Drive connections and clarity between Properties and Enterprise work while navigating ambiguity.
