829 Studios is seeking a senior Lead Paid Search Strategist to manage a portfolio of enterprise clients, crafting strategy and coordinating with marketing colleagues to drive success. You will mentor junior teammates and, over time, may supervise direct reports.

You will strategize, develop, and oversee multiple digital advertising campaigns, update clients on progress, and prepare comprehensive deliverables from kickoff to reporting, while advising on how to reach business goals with ads.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years managing paid advertising programs.
• Experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
• Analytics skills with Google Analytics or HubSpot Analytics.
• Experience with project tools ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Experience with pixeling/conversion tracking via GTM.
• Experience with reporting tools Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks.
• Excellent time management and multi-project juggling.
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS.
• Remote workplace experience.

Job description

The Lead Paid Search Strategist position is a senior level, client-facing role within 829’s Marketing Services department. You’ll manage a portfolio of our largest, enterprise clients, executing campaigns and coordinating with colleagues across marketing disciplines to drive collective success.

This role provides the opportunity not only to dive deep into paid ads, but also learn on a broader scope about different areas of 829’s marketing business. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and coach junior colleagues and peers - and if interested - manage direct reports over time. Strategize, develop, and simultaneously maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns for a portfolio of enterprise sized businesses.Update clients regularly as to the status of their digital initiatives.Prepare client deliverables from project kickoff documents to rolling reporting.Advise clients on how to best accomplish their business goals through digital advertising.Serve as a technical resource to other departments, committees, and your peers.Conceptualize, vocalize, and implement departmental process improvements.

A minimum of 6-8 years managing paid advertising programs, preferably in an agency setting.Thorough understanding of various paid advertising tool sets such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads.Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.Deep understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot Analytics, or similar.Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.Experience with pixeling and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager or other means.Experience with reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks, or similar.Exceptional time management and organization skills.Experience juggling multiple projects and paid advertising campaigns simultaneously.Familiarity with WordPress or a similar CMS.Experience training and mentoring more junior team members.Remote Workplace.
