Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.
• Ability to operate IBM cash registers.

• Readiness to follow store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves and displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and maintain plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety and greet customers.
• Operate register, total purchases, and handle cash transactions.
• Open/close the store under supervision.
• Authorize refunds and oversee cashier accountability in absence of managers.
