Niles Way Senior Living, a Certus Healthcare community, located in Niles, Ohio, is seeking a Lead Resident Assistant to deliver compassionate care on the Night Shift. The role includes assisting with orientation, training, and ongoing needs while supervising team members to ensure high-quality care.

You will support residents with daily living activities, personal care, social engagement, and safety, maintaining dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of personal care home operations and dementia care practices is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, social and recreational pursuits, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of residents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring environment.
• Help implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within resident living areas.
