Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a stewarding or custodial role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality or event venues.
• Certification in hospitality management or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of stewards to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all assigned areas.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure timely and thorough sanitation.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with event coordinators, kitchen staff, and management to support smooth event operations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, incidents, and team performance.
