Job summary

Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a HACCP‑compliant kitchen steward supervisor to uphold health and safety standards while leading a high‑volume unit. You will train team members, monitor product handling, control costs, and coordinate with culinary and facilities to maintain clean, safe work areas in accordance with Department of Health and OSHA guidelines.

Experience in food and beverage service and P&L awareness preferred; a flexible schedule and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure MSDS materials are available and emergency procedures understood.
• Set schedules and duties while maintaining appropriate staffing.
• Coach and counsel team members not meeting standards.
• Maintain records and adherence to Station Casinos policies.
• Oversee requisitioning, production, fabrication and quality per specs.
• Work with management to ensure safe, compliant operations with OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate with managers and lead the unit toward budgets and goals.
