Summary:

The Lead Sterile Supply Technician oversees and assigns work to CSD Technicians engaged in cleaning, sterilizing, packaging, and distributing patient care instruments and supplies, as well as transportation aides. The role also involves assisting with training and performing the work of a CSD Technician as needed.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  2. License/Certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required within one year of starting the role.
  3. Experience: At least three years of experience demonstrating knowledge and advanced skills in sterilization techniques and equipment troubleshooting required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
