Franciscan Health Crown Point is seeking a Lead CSP Technician to manage decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage and documentation of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.

You will monitor sterilizer parameters, ensure proper handling, and assemble instruments into trays while maintaining inventory and following hospital policies. The role also involves supporting unit leadership and team performance.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Sterile Processing or equivalent required.
• CRCST certification by HSPA.
• CSPDT certification by CBSPD.
• Endoscope Preprocessor certification (HSPA).
• Instrument Specialist certification (HSPA).

Responsabilidades

• Clean and decontaminate reusable equipment, instruments, and supplies, both manually and mechanically.
• Assess supplies required for prescribed standard surgical procedures, and set up case carts.
• Maintain inventory, and ensure proper handling of equipment.
• Monitor, read, document, and interpret all parameters for sterilizers to ensure proper function.
• Participate in people management activities for unit team members, such as evaluations and interviews.
• Assemble instruments in trays following established tray listings and proper packing procedures.
