Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Lead CSP Technician to oversee decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly and sterilization of reusable surgical instruments. The role ensures proper packaging, storage, and distribution of equipment used in patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate Degree Preferred
• 1 Year Sterile Processing or Equivalent Experience Required
• CRCST Required Upon Hire
• CSPDT Certification Required Upon Hire
• Endoscope Preprocessor - HSPA within 1 year Preferred
• CIS - HSPA within 1 year Preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleans and decontaminates reusable equipment and instruments manually and mechanically.
• Sets up case carts, maintains inventory, disassembles, inspects, cleans, disinfects and reassembles instrument trays.
• Monitors sterilizers, documents parameters and ensures proper function.
• Performs emergency response duties per training and hospital policy.
• Participates in people management activities and provides feedback on performance.
