The Sterile Processing Technician Lead performs and monitors a variety of duties in relation to decontamination, preparation/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays and sets, case carts, equipment. The role maintains sterilization logs, instrument tracking system, and supply inventory in the sterile processing unit without direct supervision. Responsibilities include routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of department equipment, managing shifts and staff, participating in performance evaluations, monitoring distribution of supplies to customers, and maintaining excellent customer service.
Minimum $26.73 | Midpoint $35.41 | Maximum $44.10
Full-time position. Works 4, 10‑hour shifts per week supporting the evening shift (12:00pm–10:30pm).
Functional Demand: Medium – high energy level. Tasks include lifting and carrying 40‑50 lbs, push/pull of 150‑200 lbs (patients on bed or stretcher), and lateral transfer of 150‑200 lbs.
