Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a Sterile Processing/Central Sterile role focused on education and instrument asset management. Requires three years of related experience and active CRCST/CIS/CER or ability to obtain within three months.

Qualifications

• Three years related work experience required.
• Active CRCST and Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or Certified Endoscopy Reprocessor (CER), or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician certification preferred or required by role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation and education of new equipment products and procedures.
• Develop and provide system educational programs on decontamination, disinfection and sterilization.
• Manage scheduling, training progress, and mentor orientation staff.
• Produce system documentation, reports and training materials.
• Collaborate with management to identify educational needs and drive process improvements.
