Job summary

Amplify seeks a Lead Professional Learning Specialist, STEM to join our Professional Development team and support educators and students nationwide. The role focuses on delivering high-quality professional learning for teachers and school leaders, while coaching a cohort of 30–40 PLS to ensure consistent, effective delivery.

Responsibilities include developing program expertise, differentiating sessions, and collaborating with Product/Program teams. Travel is expected to support peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of PreK–12 teaching experience.
• At least 2 years of experience coaching educators in PreK–12 settings.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and demonstrated application in professional development settings.
• Deep knowledge of STEM instructional best practices aligned to grade-level standards.
• Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality remote and onsite professional development to groups of 30–40 educators.
• Coach and develop a cohort of 30–40 Professional Learning Specialists through observations and feedback.
• Design targeted development plans based on observation data and customer feedback.
• Share insights with internal Product and Program teams to improve implementation.
