You will oversee safety, quality, scheduling, and production, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget, with a focus on meticulous site coordination. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating with trades, issuing RFIs, conducting weekly safety meetings, and developing look-ahead schedules.

Qualifications

• A solid understanding of commercial construction and steel erection.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey information, delegate tasks, and address concerns.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment is crucial for this role.
• Experience and knowledge operating equipment such as transit, laser level, and torpedo levels.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly on-site safety meetings and promote a culture of safety.
• Coordinate weekly look-ahead schedules to anticipate issues or delays.
• Read specifications/blueprints to determine locations, quantities, and sizes of materials.
• Coordinate with other trades and schedule material deliveries to the job site.
• Address non-conformances and issue corrective actions as needed.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and submit RFIs and as-built drawings.
