• 5+ years’ experience, ideally with regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

• Prepares life insurance company statutory annual and quarterly financial statements, and other reports, for filing with state insurance regulators and the NAIC
• Provides insightful qualitative analysis around regulatory and legal entity reporting
• Teams with internal and external partners to understand prioritize and review specialized/complex analysis, reports and accounting transactions and implement any changes needed for reporting
• Maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting
• Complete requests from and communicate with external auditors and examiners/regulators
• Ad hoc projects
• Assists in the preparation and review of various state and insurance company filings
