Job summary

Allergan in South San Francisco seeks a senior statistician to lead design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials and related research. You will independently develop protocols and analysis plans and implement sound statistical methods.

You will collaborate with data science and cross-functional teams, present results clearly, and help advance product development while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• MS with 6+ years or PhD with 2+ years in Statistics/Biostatistics.
• Experience performing statistical computations and simulations.
• Clinical Trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials or other scientific studies.
• Independently develop protocols and/or analysis plans with details for programming implementation.
• Independently perform statistical analyses per the analysis plan and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Develop strategy for data presentation and inference; collaborate on publications.
• Work with multifunction teams and clearly explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
