Qualifications

• PhD or Master in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline
• 5+ years experience (PhD holders) or 7+ years (Master holders) in pharma/biotech/medical devices or related industries
• Academic or research experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more projects in late-phase rare disease development; provide statistical leadership and scientific validity for studies and submissions
• Direct statistical support with minimal direction; ensure quality and relevance to external stakeholders (regulatory authorities, journals)
• Mentor junior staff and promote teamwork, efficiency, and innovation within the project team
• Plan activities, timelines, and resources; optimize resource allocation and coordinate with CROs or DMCs
• Represent statistics in regulatory meetings and cross-functional initiatives; contribute to standardization and process improvements
