Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Director, Biostatistics Project Lead in Waltham, MA to provide leadership as the lead biostatistician on one or more project teams, accountable for all statistical aspects and acting as a scientific consultant within the company.

You will mentor global Biostatistical and Scientific Programming teams, plan timelines and resources, ensure quality and regulatory readiness, and collaborate with senior leadership to advance vaccine development programs.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS in statistics with 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
• Strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
• Experience in clinical development or post-marketing activities and regulatory interactions.
• Ability to represent Sanofi in cross-company activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead large vaccine project (clinical development or post-marketing) in one or several indications.
• Direct biostatistical contribution and provide scientific leadership for related projects, including quality and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and lead global Biostatistical and Scientific Programming teams across locations; promote teamwork and efficiency.
• Plan and track Global Biostatistical Sciences activities, timelines and resources; justify needs and optimize utilization.
• Ensure productive collaborations with other functions and communicate with senior leadership.
• Represent biostatistics in cross-functional groups and contribute to process optimization and standards.
