Job summary

The New Jersey Judiciary seeks a Lead Statistical Assistant in the Quantitative Research Unit of the Data Analytics, Research, and Statistics (DARS) office. The position supports modernizing monthly statistical reporting, analyzes trends, and helps create interactive dashboards using Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI in a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Three years of clerical and support experience including keyboarding and scheduling.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience editing tables in Excel, and reviewing manuscripts before publication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the front-end system and produce/validate reports.
• Collet monthly reports and analyze them; validate Tableau or PowerBI dashboards.
• Review reports for grammar/style and ensure the internal Style Guide is applied.
• Support design of additional data dashboards and ad hoc statistical reports.
• Collaborate with IT and other units on data system updates.
• Document data analysis and reporting techniques for reproducibility.
• Assist in reporting New Jersey statistics to stakeholders.
