Job summary

Rehabilitation & Correction - Southeast Correctional Institution in Orient, Ohio, is seeking a stationary steam engineer for a full-time, on-site role. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and train powerhouse workers and/or inmates in installation, maintenance and operation of powerhouse equipment.
• Monitor gauges, readouts and equipment operation; adjust as needed.
• Start/stop equipment and manage over-generating activities as required.
• Maintain logs, fuel usage, power generated, and related records.
• Ensure security and custody, inventory, and orderly maintenance of powerhouse areas.
